Wonderful time on St. Patrick's Weekend at Murphy's Checkpoint Charlie! We spent St. Patrick's Day/Weekend (up to Tuesday) in Berlin and we're absolutely delighted! We went to Murphy's at Checkpoint Charly every evening and sometimes also during daytime and it was really great, lovely decoration, wonderful atmosphere. There was good live music and sports events on the screen. It was very crowded but all the same we always got our drinks and food quickly and the staff were efficient and very friendly, one young man even recognised us at once each time we came in -- despite the many people that were around. It was almost unbelievable, with regard to so many things they had to do and so many people they had to wait on, simply great!!! In general: nice pub grub, good beer, enormous choice of whisky and whiskey. When we return to Berlin we'll drop in again! Elke and Robert
