I am a very picky and particular New Yorker. Any clothing store has to be top shelf for me to even be interested in walking into it. When almost ten years ago our daughter moved to the small German city of Darmstadt, I was certainly not expecting much by way of shopping opportunites. Imagine my great surprise, then, upon first walking into the JACK WOLFSKIN store in DARMSTADT a few years ago! I saw right away the quality of the clothing and of the accessories for men, women and children was of the very highest quality. I buy there for our daughter, our son-in-law, our two little grandsons, and my wife and myself as well, each time we visit them here in Darmstadt. However, it is not just the quality of the merchandise that makes the Darmstadt Jack Wolfskin store stand out. It is rather the extremely helpful and outgoing managers of the store who really make this store exceptional. It is, without any exaggeration at all, simply MY FAVORITE CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES STORE IN THE WORLD, and my very first shopping stop every time we visit.
